West London Sinfonia (WLS) was formed in 1970 by Stephen Block from a core of talented players, alumni of Ealing Youth Orchestra. WLS is completely independent and self-financing with its stated objective: “to advance the education of the public in the arts and sciences of music and drama by the presentation of concerts and other ways as WLS shall think fit.”
The orchestra is funded by its concert audiences, together with subscriptions from its members and, on occasion, generous gifts and bequests. All sources of funding are valuable, so please consider supporting us by:

You can also help us by accessing any online shopping you do with Amazon through the portal on our website homepage, when we receive a small percentage on each sale; or by signing up with Give As You Live, an organisation that negotiates with a wide range of retailers to give a small proportion of receipts from online transactions to the funds of registered charities (as WLS is, registered charity no. 283004). No matter how modest, all contributions help us fulfill our aims and aspirations for the future.
